Frames

Make a frame from photos and videos you pick on the device, or from its albums. Each frame has its own photos and settings.

Albums on this device

Choose one or more albums on the device to play their photos. With access to all photos, newly added album photos also play. The default album photo cache limit is 10% of free space, up to 1 GB. On iPhone and iPad, album photos stored only in iCloud need an internet connection unless already cached.

Slideshow

Transitions: crossfade, fade, slide, zoom, Ken Burns or none. Smart chooses Fill or Fit for each photo. On a landscape screen, two portrait photos taken close together are shown side by side. The time and date can be shown.

Night schedule and charging

While a slideshow is playing, the screen turns black during the hours you set. Playback resumes when those hours end. On Android, set the app as the screen saver to start the slideshow when the screen times out while charging. On iPhone and iPad, a Shortcuts automation can open the app when a charger is connected while the device is unlocked. Settings lists the steps.
